2) Hosting / Technical Provision

This website is provided via Framer B. V., Rozengracht 207b, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, Netherlands. When our pages are accessed, the hosting provider processes technical log data (see section 3).

Framer is engaged as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO; a data processing agreement (DPA) is in place with Framer.

Domain management/DNS is provided by Strato GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Str. 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany.

3) Server Log Files

On each access, the servers automatically process the IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer URL, HTTP status, transferred data volume, and the user agent (browser/operating system).

The purpose is operation, stability, and security of the website (for example, defending against attacks) as well as error analysis.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO.

Log files are stored by the hosting provider for a period technically necessary and then deleted or anonymised.

4) No Web Analytics, No Non-Essential Cookies

We do not use web analytics services (for example, Google Analytics, Matomo) and we do not use non-essential cookies. Consent under the TDDDG (formerly TTDSG) is therefore not required, as no information is stored on or accessed from end-user devices for advertising or tracking purposes (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

5) Communication by Email

If you contact us by email, we process your message, including the sender address and any further information, in order to handle your request.

Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) DSGVO (contract-related inquiries) and Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO (general communication). Data are erased once the purpose ceases and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6) External Links (for example, Google Books)

Our pages contain plain hyperlinks to external services, including Google Books. No data are transmitted to those providers when our pages are loaded. Only after you click an external link is a connection to the respective provider established. External links are identified; where appropriate, we additionally display a notice before leaving our site. Please consult the respective provider’s privacy notice.

7) Fonts

We use locally embedded font files to render text. No fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers.

8) TLS/HTTPS

This website uses TLS encryption (HTTPS). You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the lock icon in your browser.

9) Recipients / Categories of Recipients

Technical service providers receive data insofar as this is necessary to provide the website. This includes, in particular, hosting/CDN by Framer B. V. and domain management/DNS by Strato GmbH. Processing is carried out on the basis of data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO. Contact details: see section 2.

10) Transfers to Third Countries

Data are transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA only where required for service provision and subject to the conditions of Arts. 44 et seq. DSGVO (for example, EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

11) Your Rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO (Art. 21 DSGVO). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

12) Changes to This Notice
